ASSESSMENT is the most important aspect of our service. We therefore take care to appoint QUALIFIED AND QUALIFYING TUTORS ONLY. The combined experience of Lighthouse Academy staff adds up to a 100 years. We are well equipped to facilitate in every learning area including specialized subjects and we are able to assist each learner with their respective learning needs and facilitate with quality education. Furthermore, we provide on-line help to our learners by making use of technology; especially in times when learners need to prepare for exams.

Special Attention and Support
At Lighthouse Academy we facilitate learners in small groups and move to one-on-one sessions when the need arises for more personal attention to a learner’s educational requirements. The PERSONAL NEEDS of every learner regarding their academic progress are of utmost importance to us. In the same way we focus on their emotional development and advance sound Christian principles. Most of our learners’ marks improve on average with 20% per subject after the first term. We use Impaq as CAPS curriculum provider which allows us to work with each learner at their own pace. This implies that learners who need to work slower can do so and those who have the ability and want to progress quicker can do so as well!
