At Lighthouse Academy we facilitate learners in small groups and move to one-on-one sessions when the need arises for more personal attention to a learner’s educational requirements. The PERSONAL NEEDS of every learner regarding their academic progress are of utmost importance to us. In the same way we focus on their emotional development and advance sound Christian principles.
Most of our learners’ marks improve on average with 20% per subject after the first term. We use different CAPS curriculum providers which allows us to work with each learner at their own pace. This implies that learners who need to work slower can do so and those who have the ability and want to progress quicker can do so as well!
We additionally provide Amanuensis to learners who have concession approval and need extra assistance to write exams. We also have specialized tutors available, should there be a need for further extra classes. This service is usually provided after hours on an appointment basis.
